The history of Tomviolence begis in 2001 when the components of the group Leonardo Cioni(voice and guitar),Lorenzo Cerelli(guitar),Antonio Martini(drumbs and keyboard)and Giulio Artini(bass) unite under the same name.The band and it's music have had the possibility in the years to grow in sound and in perfomance style also thanks to the precious  work with other artists in the music bussiness..   After a very pleasent experience performing live in 2003 Tomviolence had the opportunity to record their first demo intitled "Virginity" that reached and conviced a local label of Florence "Black Candy Records".Starting from 2004 they signed a contract with the label and record their first album,"Tomviolence"(2005 Black Candy/Audioglobe).Recorded t the Bunker Studio of Rubiera with the help of artistic producer Andrea Riovacchi thhis album represents a deviation from their original sound.The band pulls out nine tracks where new musicians such as Tommaso Olivieri(violins) and Edo Artini(wind instruments) become a stable presence in this album and of the groups new strumental sound.In the making o this album the group also chose to mingle with other artists like:Luca Di Mira(Giardini Di Mirò),MartinoPompili(The Slugs;Stoop) and Gianfranco Frigeri(JOe Leaman)..The album obtains agood success both with critics and with audience....("a small masterpiece of debute"-Rumore;"a daring ad curious debute"-Rolling Stone;" a band capable of muting pop in an excercise of pian and patience"-Il Mucchio)The years 2006 and 2007 see the band busy not only in their live performances but also in the writing of their second album..
